These three-day Great Barrier Reef, Daintree, and Kuranda Adventures are the perfect package to see the icons of Tropical North Queensland: Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforest, and Kuranda Village in the Rainforest.
Also, this tour can be done in the order that suits you best, and you can take rest days between the tours.
DAY 1 : Great Barrier Reef Day Tour
This tour visits one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Today you will travel with a local family owned and operated Reef Experience. This tour visits two spectacular outer barrier reef locations.
Reef Experience is Cairns only all ALL inclusive Great Barrier Reef tour. Included in the day are hotel transfers, scuba diving for certified divers and introductory divers, all equipment needed for snorkelling and delicious food!
A high-speed catamaran gets you to the Reef fast. This tour guarantees the most time at each beautiful barrier reef destination. Have a great time and visit one of the natural wonders of the world.
DAY 2 : Daintree and Cape Tribulation
Explore the biodiversity and history of the UNESCO listed Cape Tribulation and Daintree National Park.
Travel north along the scenic coastal highway, the Great Barrier Reef Drive. Jump on a Daintree River Cruise. See abundant wildlife and maybe even a prehistoric saltwater croc!
You will have the chance to wander along Cape Tribulation Beach. Enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch served in a private rainforest setting.
Visit the pristine waters of Mossman Gorge. Watch a presentation by the traditional owners of the gorge, the Kuku Yalanji people.
This tour operates with a GPS activated Audio Commentary system.
The system is completely portable and wireless and is GPS triggered. Commentary has both sound effects and music.
You can bring along your headsets or purchase some on the day at an extra cost. Languages include Japanese, German, French, Italian, Chinese and Spanish.
DAY 3 : Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail
Combining the world-famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway with the Scenic Train journey, a great way to experience Kuranda.
First, you will travel on Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, which provides an extraordinary birds-eye view of the rainforest. Soar silently only metres above the rainforest canopy, and get an incredible view of the mighty Barron Falls.
Spend some free time exploring Kuranda. With so many markets, eating options, and Aussie wildlife to experience!
On your return to Cairns, you will travel by the Scenic Train, you will learn about the history of the Tropical North.
Itinerary
Your day at the Great Barrier Reef Tour Itinerary
- 07:30 – Board Reef Experience boat at the Cairns Marina ‘A-Finger’ for check-in
- 08:00 – Approximate departure and Safety Talk with snorkel briefing
- 08:30 – Marine Biology presentation, followed by a detailed scuba dive briefing for those participating
- 09:30 – Arrive at our first spectacular reef site, snorkel and scuba diving
- 12:30 – BBQ Lunch with delicious fresh salads
- 13:00 – Cruise to our second location scuba diving and snorkelling
- 15:00 – Depart the Great Barrier Reef
- 15:30 – Glass of wine, tropical fruits, cheese and biscuits
- 16:30 – Arrive back in Cairns
Kuranda Tour Itinerary
- This Kuranda tour starts with a pick up from right outside your hotel.
- Then, it’s off to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to glide above the Rainforest
- After the Skyrail, you arrive in the rainforest village of Kuranda.
- Free time to explore the region further.
- Visit the historic Kuranda markets, the Butterfly Sanctuary or Koala Gardens
- The hop on board the Kuranda Train
- Air-conditioned driver coach, which will take you back to your hotel
Daintree Rainforest Tour Itinerary
- 06:45 Hotel Pickups start
- 09:50 Daintree River Cruise. On this 1-hour boat tour, you will glide through the rainforest in search of local wildlife. Of course, you’ll be on the lookout for the infamous saltwater crocodile, but there is plenty of other wildlife to see as well!
- Then – Alexandra Lookout. Your driver will stop for a photo opportunity and a spectacular view of Snapper Island and beyond.
- 12:15 Lunch – You will enjoy a fresh, tropical BBQ Lunch in a private rainforest setting.
- Later – Cape Tribulation Beach – Next is your chance to go for a walk on the world-renowned beach where the rainforest meets the Reef!
- 15:15 Mossman Gorge Centre – Here you will have an Indigenous Presentation by the local Kuku Yalanji people. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to walk through the rainforest as your guide shares his knowledge.
- 18:30 Approximate return time to hotel

It is always our mission to provide our passengers with the very best Great Barrier Reef experience.
Queensland, Australia has some of the strictest scuba diving rules in the world. It also has the safest scuba diving record. The Queensland Government Code of Practice regulates us and comply with all regulations, including medical as is the law.
To avoid disappointment on your day of travel, we strongly recommend that you complete our dive medical questionnaire before booking.
Some medical conditions, age and/or medications may prevent you from scuba diving.

Flying after Scuba Diving
For a single no-decompression scuba dive, do not fly or go to altitude for at least 18 hours.
For multiple dives, you should not fly for 24 hours after your last dive.
If Skydiving or Hot Air Ballooning you must wait 24 hours after your dive.
We recommend waiting a minimum of 24 hours whenever possible.
